The New White House
I thought everyone would enjoy getting a sneak peak at the new White House in Marietta. The house is situated on Idlewyld Drive in a neighborhood called Lee's Crossing, about a mile west of the Marietta Square.
Below are pictures from the inspection on Friday. The progression goes from the downstairs to the upstairs, and then around the outside of the house. The only room we neglected to take pictures of is the living room (which is immediately on the right inside the front door, opposite the dining room). We even threw in a few shots of the neighborhood amenities.
For those who are curious, the inspection went extremely well - the house is in excellent condition. We've set May 25th as the closing date, and everyone is invited to help us move in over Memorial Day weekend (Sat. May 28th-30th).

It is gorgeous! Cairenn and I had a much more modest "starter home" :). Your new house is a lovely home and I know you and Mary Evelyne will enjoy living there. We Alabama Martins won't be able to be there to help you move in but we would love to come to the house warming. Congratulaions and welcome to the joys of home ownership.
